Mitch,

Draft picks and free agents are all important, but your #1 priority between now and draft day is working some deals that rebalance the roster. As I am sure you are aware, we finished last season with 5 small forwards on the roster - Odom, Butler, Jones, Walton and George. Kobe can play SF in a pinch. At the same time, our point guards suck, there is no back up SG, and it would be really nice to get a Ben Wallace kind of PF. We have lots of expiring contracts - Divac, George, Atkins, Medvedenko and Jones. You are probably not going to have much of a chance to rebalance the roster this summer because of the looming lock out. So hit the phones and set up one or two draft day deals.
